I am ALL about entertaining during the fall months, not only because of the beautiful tablescapes I get to display or the pretty autumn decor that currently takes up every inch of my house, but sharing delicious cocktails like this with friends and family is definitely the best way to kick off the season! Not only is this punch festive and super delicious, but you literally just dump all your ingredients into a bowl and you’re good to go! Convenience at its finest and I don’t know about you, but when hosting a gathering at your house, you definitely want to keep things as simple as possible. The best part is, the longer this punch marinates, the more flavor it has and the better it tastes!
This Harvest Apple Cider Punch would make the perfect addition to any Thanksgiving (or a Friendsgiving), football Sundays, much-needed happy hours OR you could even get creative and serve this to all your adult friends when they show up with their kids trick-or-treating! I promise they’ll thank you
This cocktail seriously screams FALL in a glass. I’m just loving the combination of crisp apples, orange slices, cinnamon sticks and sprigs of thyme all mixed together with fresh apple cider, my favorite bottle of prosecco and of course a little vodka! I was really excited to try Prairie Organic Vodka not only because I’ve heard such amazing things (I mean this vodka has won countless awards!), but it’s American-made and all of Prairie’s products are free of harmful chemicals and GMO’s because they work with farmers who take the time to properly harvest fresh organic yellow corn.
Prairie Organic Vodka is crafted from farm to bottle and the taste is creamy and smooth with hints of melon and pear making it the perfect addition to this delicious apple cider punch! Prairie also offers organic gin and, one of my personal favorites, organic cucumber flavored vodka and everything they offer is gluten-free. I strongly encourage you to try this award-winning, quality vodka if you haven’t already!
To make this punch even more flavorful, I also added a little pear juice (or you could use pear nectar) along with some ginger beer, which as most of you know, I always have on hand because I love my moscow mules! You really don’t even need to measure when making this punch either, just throw all your ingredients in and taste as you go to make this to your liking. If you prefer less apple and more pear then adjust accordingly, if you prefer more orange flavor then add some fresh squeezed orange juice and maybe a little orange zest. Being a food blogger has forced me to write down measurements as I go so that I can share all my favorite recipes with YOU all, but I honestly hardly ever measure anything when cooking in real life! Are you guys like that too?
Make sure to have fun with this recipe too! Add a little cinnamon and sugar to the rim of each wine glass before serving and throw in an extra cinnamon stick to look like a cute straw. Oh and if you like your punch a bit sweeter, feel free to mix in a little honey or agave – everyone has different tastes! These are of course just other ideas and variations, but the recipe below tastes pretty AWESOME if you ask me so I would try that first if you aren’t sure.
Just a quick note: if you decide to put this in a big drink dispenser rather than a pitcher, I would suggest leaving out the pomegranate seeds as they tend to get stuck in the nozzle of the dispenser. Simply add them to each individual drink after they’re poured or throw in some fresh cranberries instead!
So whether you’re throwing a holiday party or just having people over for a Sunday football game, this is definitely the perfect fall cocktail to please a crowd! Remember this is only for those 21 and up so please drink responsibly
Hope you all enjoy this Harvest Apple Cider and if you love this recipe as much as we do, please leave me below and don’t forget to tag me on Instagram using the hashtag #eatyourselfskinny! I love seeing all your delicious recreations!
